Fiji's northern group of islands provides one of the most pristine destinations in the South Pacific. Matangi Island is situated in yesterday; so close to the 180th meridian that yesterdays blend into today with a serenity that is found nowhere else. The Douglas family have opened their 240 acre private island to a select few discerning guests that join the growing number of new "family" members that call Matangi home. The horseshoe shaped island wraps around a lagoon of pure aquamarine, blended together with the verdant colors of the rainforest and the striking rim of white sand beaches. A beauty that can only be captured by the eye.
Whether you come to these shores to swim, snorkel, scuba dive, sail, fish, hike, or just sit on the beach reading a good book and recharging your soul, you will find it all here...and more.
